Satire, you ask, here's satire for you:

Go for it, you wont be hurting the cops ... next time you need 911, don't call them ....

Cop Haters, Thugglife, have a commonality and all share a desired goal and purpose ....

By the way, was it determined whom killed the 2 innocent by-standers yet, or have you tried and executed the police officers, that all Stood Tall, that Day ?

I'm surprised they haven't already burned down the place for shooting the two bad guys. Usually they would be crying racism and the media displaying their pictures from the second grade.

Did you shoot and where you on scene ?

Wow, I guess your a cop and you too are bashing fellow police officers ???????

So, between all the cop haters and the internal bickering and politics man are you all doomed.

How about this, all of you rally around all those that are suspended because of the shooting and go by and spend a little time with them and their families ????

Instead of criticizing let's be better than that, and let's rally around your fellow police officers and their families !!!!!

Set aside your personal issues with some fellow officer and be the bigger person, and as a department Go by and just give them a handshake and let them know you're thinking of them and their families.

They Stood Tall, and did the very best they could, no one is perfect, let the facts come out before we crucify and indict our police officers, we give career criminals the benefit of the doubt, but we want to hang our Police Officers without all the facts!

Even if you weren’t there, the facts are easily verifiable. Watch the video of PRT and others hiding behind civilians and their vehicles. That is the complete opposite of standing tall.

Shooting into an occupied vehicle that held a hostage is not the “the very best”.

The officers were suspended for disobeying AD and those guys arent MDPD. If these werent Officers, anyone other citizen who discharged their firearms and took two innocent lives, would have already been arrested and tried in a public court on anyone of LEOs Facebook pages..long before seeing a courtroom. No special treatment should be given here.

Even if you weren't there, the facts are easily verifiable in any one of the videos that show PRT and others crouching behind civilians and their vehicles. That is the complete opposite of standing tall.

Shooting into an occupied vehicle that holds a hostage is not "the very best".

The officers were suspended for disobeying a direct command to back off from AD, and they aren't even MDPD.

If these weren't officers, any other citizen who discharged a firearm that took two lives, would have already been arrested and tried in the public court on any agency's Facebook page, long before ever seeing a courtroom.

To MDPD's PRT officers' critics, now sitting in judgment over their actions last Thursday, December 5, open and read the below link regarding this New Jersey case where "One police officer, three civilians, and two suspects are dead after a multi-hour SWAT standoff at a kosher market in Jersey City." *

Police can have the best-designed plans and tactical models to follow in the event of a confrontation with armed offenders, and that is good. Still, the fact is, the second the offenders engage, the best plans and models turn into toilet tissue. *That is precisely the case in our situation and doubtless New Jersey's. *Offenders dictate our response, and often all we can do is put out "suppressive fire" while seeking cover, regardless where that might be and praying we don't get killed trying to kill the offenders firing upon us. *That is our reality when going barrel-to-barrel with hardened, vicious armed offenders, who don't give a PHUCK about their lives and less about ours or that of innocent citizens caught in the gun battle. *

Sometimes police get very lucking when the dust finally settles. *On January 31, 2003, the date we engaged two desperate US Postal truck hijackers, we were very fortunate. *Generally, that is the exception and not the rule regarding these violent cases. *One thing is sure, in the future, there will be other violent situations. *We hope MDPD will train most of its Lieutenants and higher-ranking officers in methods, tactics, and tools to stop fleeing violent felons, minimize casualties, whether they are officers and or civilians. *In the end, as it is generally the case when police engage violent offenders, people die whether they are police officers or innocent civilians.*
