Still wondering if you should sign a PERC card and vote the PBA out? Yesterday, multiple officers fired their weapons, 4 people are dead and the PBA sends out ONE attorney for everyone. I am sorry but the shell casings are not even cooled off yet and the PBA says everything is fine and one attorney will do?? What are we paying dues for? Our brothers up in Broward get one attorney for each person involved. if 5 people are in a shooting with one lawyer and one rolls, how is that same attorney gonna cut a deal for one and "best represent" the other 4? Not till almost 9pm did the PBA finally know they were in over their head and a second attorney was called in.

Absolutely spot on post ! We have seen this in other parts of Florida where one officer gets peeled away from the pack to testify against others creating a huge legal problem. PBA trying to save a few bucks could possibly hang a few folks out to dry along the way. Looks like nobody is thinking over there.

I never said anything about exec board members. As a reminder, your exec board members DO NOT have privileges communication. The PBA has one attorney that responded when the calls went out. 4 hours later they called a second attorney. There shoukd have been one attorney for each officer. But then again, look what the palm beach PBA did. They allowed a palm beach gardens cop to give a full recorded statement on scene which just got him 20 years. Great job PBA
