    Aftermath

So let me tell you how this is going to go:

Immediate change of SOP to prevent us from chasing any type of crime.
New, unrealistic training developed by the same 20 people who will make all the overtime they can mustard out of the department. The training will be so unrealistic and so “when I was on the road 20 years ago” it type training.
A few guys from PRT will be put in a good spot like warrants or Special patrol.
The department will hide this deeeeeep in the archives to forget it ever happened.
The next three annuals you will hear the war stories from everyone who says they were there but weren’t.

Good luck with that one. There is no hiding this with all the cell phone videos of PRT taking tactical positions within groups of citizens and shooting at the subjects, instead of drawing their fire away from those citizens. This wasn’t two active shooters killing everyone they saw, these were two 29 subjects that were only going to shoot at wherever officers were. Shame on those involved with this take down.

Why not just eliminate PRT and instead of summoning SRT and having them be an hour away from setting up etc just make them live ready on the road to handle all these active shooter call threats?
They are well trained and better than the makeshift PRT that was created and had taken so many Officers off the much depleted districts.

Because then it would make Commissioner Martinez right.

Good point, I remember when the peace sign was given when the Commissioner didn’t buy into the bs at the Board if County Commission hearing.
