I am hearing a “ Rookie “ fired his weapon from Miramar ... stupid.

Let's be honest, this was noting but self-preservation and "sticking it to the bad guy," at all costs. That's all fine. We're all selfish and stupid in the heat of the moment. But just tell the truth... law enforcement's well-being was placed higher than the well-being of everyone else. Typical young-buck-millennial-wanna-be-operator attitude.

Real people freaking died folks. What is needed now is an apology for one of the worst law enforcement involved shootings in the past decade. But that won't happen. Limiting liability and maintaining egos are more important than manning up and admitting that this was reckless. It's all over national television... how can you spin this and still smell like a rose?

But hey, look on the bright side. At least you got both bad guys... at the expense of a nobody hostage, a bystander with bad karma, all while putting dozens of other non-sworn minions in danger. How brave! I hope you can find a way to sleep at night with that "it happens" attitude. Good luck with that "support."

All anyone is saying is that YOU need to wait until the investigation is complete! Thats it! Thankfully Retired LE? If that was you or were one of the guys that fired wouldnt you want your due process? Ill answer that question for you- of course you would. No one is defending it but we are asking that YOU wait until the investigation in complete!!!

What is wrong is wrong , the person LEO or not is simply stating facts.

These people are allowed due process and a complete investigation not some cowards commenting on a message board.

    Dip Sh*t

Whatever happens just be glad that the former chief RB is not in charge. He would be so scared now watching the negative media. I can see him now - following the mayor and commissioners around promising to punish all the officers who didn't follow his perfect policies - the ones that he changed every week. I sure don't miss him.

Chief Williams is no better , Williams does not know the first thing about police work since day one . Remember he is the CEO and only speaks of the money he is spending or how he says “ allocating funds” . The Chief and his clueless administration will make themselves look like the puppets and retards they are.

That was a bad situation. It sure looked like the bad guys were shooting from the truck so its a no win situation.

I pray that Peter B aka "trigger happy" sgt was not on scene and shooting. He is reckless and has had many shootings in the past that where he starts shooting at the end of a chase for no reason. If he was involved the city will pay out millions.
