PBA Going Full Bore Pinocchio
So many lies...so little time. IUPA is a police union that represents police. Period. No agriculture or horticulture or whatever else these PBA folks are writing up here. IUPA allows it's officers to select who THEY wish to endorse. IUPA does not tell anyone who to endorse or provide money to candidates. It allows each independent local the autonomy to select who they want. They are not the Teamsters. The Teamsters back a certain candidate say an Obama or a Hillary Clinton and the entire union is expected to support that candidate. This is exactly why so many officers left the Teamsters and came over to IUPA in the recent years.
The AFL-CIO issue is a non issue. You should focus on representation and a union that fights for you. AND A UNION THAT SHOWS UP AT THE SCENE IN A TIMELY FASHION WHEN YOU ARE INVOLVED IN A CRITICAL INCIDENT SHOOTING ! THREE HOURS IS A JOKE AND LEAVES YOU IN THE WIND!
IUPA is well known throughout the state for showing up quickly to critical incidents. One of our attorneys is famous for showing up while "you can still smell the gunpowder in the air."
PBA focus on your members and getting them benefits. Telling lies and misinformation on LEO Affairs is a waste of time for all involved!

PBA highlights their desperation when they offer perpetual lies. Because they got nothing else. They can’t talk about the reopener because there is none. They can’t talk about new benefits because there is none. They talk about successes because they have none.
So, it’s either remain quiet or speak out with lies which is all they have.
If IUPA was no threat they wouldn’t waste their time writing BS.

Bso iupa
I'm a deputy assigned to Weston. During hurricane irma, we had a s21 (burglary) during the worse part of the storm. Of course having tons of bored deputies, we all responded and had a super perimeter. The 2 idiots decided to run out at one of our guys and was shot. IUPA attornies were on scene immediately in full storm. No joke.

IUPA is the premier police labor organization and that’s why PBA feels so threatened by them.
