Alexander, really? You want to vote for someone who thinks that this type of thing is okay? We need more supervision at this agency, not less. Can you imagine a sheriff that doesnt read things or look into them before he signs off in them. That would spell disaster for so many on so many levels.

Anyone is better than what we have now. I think Simmons is a good guy but afraid he'll keep Haines and the other worthless do nothings in his admin. If that happens this agency will not change. There has been so much damage done it would take 20 years to fix for anyone who takes over due to the incompetent people who have been promoted to Sargent and up. Some are good but I'd say 75% are clueless and worthless being promoted on test scores alone has damaged this agency for the foreseeable future. There are more supervisors than deputy's and most the deputy's know more than the supervisors that's scary. TT who just made lieutenant is a prime example ever since he was promoted to a sergeant he has been a cancer on every shift he has went to wherever he goes the shift hates him and want to transfer. He is dumb and clueless and rides everyone under him. He likes to feel important and treats people under him like crap he is in no way a leader. You have shade tree cops who now run shifts and preach to their people not to be proactive so they don't have to do extra work or worry about figuring out how to work something if it goes bad. And you just can't demote all of them so whoever takes over is stuck with them. And a lot have long careers ahead of them before retirement. If you are someone who has not been here for at least 10 years you should be smart and run to another agency.

And that is very true and the grass is greener on the other side. It's night and day working for an agency that is actually ran by competent people. You get treated with more respect and don't have to constantly fear the reaper EH and his silly made up rules and policies that him and his admin can violate but try and hang other for. You can be real law enforcement officers and actually like going to work everyday. Unlike that crooked dirty run place where everyone gripes and complains everyday about the cut throat admin. Working there kills the joy and pride you should have in your work. You can get it back just get away from there.
