    Sgt. Regueiro not guilty...

Judge: “Manuel de Jesus Regueiro, the jury finds you not guilty,” a judge said in court. “I adjudicate you not guilty. Good luck to you, sir.”

Great news! But, it didn't come easy. Here's why: if you remember, the PBA has taken a new approach lately by refusing to represent members. It was only from the criticism on this LEO affairs site did PBA buckle.
You may recall they denied another officer who was forced to hire his own attorney and was also acquitted. Then the PBA refuses to pay for his attorney fees.
Another sign of PBA not supporting the members is that not a single PBA oficial attended the trial and wasn’t their to witness righteousness. I guess we can’t expect everything and should be happy with the not guilty verdict.
Which brings us to one more point. There was a time where Fernandez Rundle was timid about charging officers knowing that the wrath of the PBA would rain down on her. But, she no longer fears that as witnessed by recent unjustified indictments of innocent officers. But, as she enters what hopefully will be her last political attempt, she does so with a challenger. She will undoubtedly be looking for the next officer to indict to convince the public that she is anti corruption. But, she will not indict politicians.
So, be careful out there as she is in search for
The next sacrificial lamb. We must keep pressuring PBA to do what they are suppose to and represent members and stop embracing people like Fernandez Rundle.

More plea lies the ofc refused to use pba got stuck with plea by using plea he may get convicted. Rundle has never been afraid of pba she was afraid of pro cop voters. The masses in miami dade co are now democrats who hate cops thats onky reason she charges bs cases. So make sure you have real attorneys as we saw yesterday!!!

I don’t know where to start with this post from Steadman. First, the case I referred to the officer was already acquitted so your comment of “he May get convicted” is beyond wrong.
The other comment is you must try to use commas and period dude. It is hard to grasp what you write without reading it several times to figure out what you are trying to convey. Last- what is “only”? Is that like honky tonk?
