Broward County is doomed!
Think about this, in a Sheriffs race you have Scott Israel campaigning off the slogan "The real Democrat," he's politicized a position that is suppossed to be about public safety. He's ruined and degraded the culture at BSO.
And suppose he is long gone. Wish I BELIEVE he should be. We now have Donna Korn and Rosalind Osgood as Chair & Vice Chair of the school board. Two very incompetent, evil people at the helm of our children's education.
Did anyone watch the political forum for the next State Attorney, the candidates were discussing who is most willing to prosecute a police officer, but you heard nothing about career criminals.
City Commissioners across the county are becoming more and more anti-police and far left by the election cycles.
What is it going to take for voters to wake up?

Voters don't SEE you objecting to this anti police rhetoric. By contract, police and teachers cannot strike. Until that line is crossed, most voters won't know how much the anti-police movement is gaining traction. Youth are being brainwashed. Teachers and cops, the boots on the ground folks need to organize to get the public behind them. How crazy is it that there's no one to do the job of either and the no strike clause still exists and prevents resistance. Who will they replace you with? There's a cop and teacher shortage. Individually sitting under a tree will not have an impact. The union needs to be told what time it is. Just because it's never been done before doesn't mean it can't be. Chicago teachers did it not too long ago and it had an impact.

Wake up!! Slap! Slap! Helllloooo, this is Broward County. It's not going to change for the better. If you haven't noticed, Broward has had a huge influx of blacks and Hispanics moving here.
If you truly want things to change, you need to look for another job outside of this county.
Otherwise, join the club, pander to the majority (white is the minority), do the bare minimum. Going on strike is against the law for Leo's but even if it wasn't, have you looked at your co-workers? There's no comradery here and unions are weak.

Every election for Sheriff and every other office is politicized and political everywhere in the nation. It's been that way for generations. Nothing different here. Not saying good or bad. Just saying that's the way it is.
