Drunk driver crashes into deputy standing in roadway

Deputies were standing adjacent a crash on the road with emergency lights flashing when John Lewis, 51, drove his car into a deputy, and then almost hit a second deputy, just before crashing into a patrol car.

Lewis had an open bottle of vodka in his front seat and he was arrested for DUI.

Florida law requires drivers to move over or slow down for flashing emergency lights.
