So Menocal was finally arrested and how does Carlos Hernandez address the list of potential victims, some of them children?
Hernandez: "No comment."

If they were not partners in the payola scheme the mayor would immediately suspend Velasquez for the 5 years he enabled Menocal despite all the media focus.

I'm sure the investigation into the cover up is proceeding along.
There is no rush. The FBI has all the time in the world.

And those who covered for him are just as bad. (Velazquez) for example. Hope they will get their day too. What officer has these type of Charges and gets “leave with pay”... other officers are 10 min late from their break and get a 10 day suspension. Hope the FBI looks into everything and anything within this Hialeah Police Department. They should speak to the attorney that turned in her resignation not long ago. wonder why she did that. Or detective Peńate, I can think of a couple people FBI needs to reach out to about the type of things this department has covered up. Starting with Menocal.

We read about 4, but now 9 different victims have come forward and potentially several more that are unidentified.
Does that mean Velasquez will give Menocal another raise?

Velasquez continues to be a lying P0S. Today he announced Menocal was being terminated "because this type of behavior has no place in Hialeah Police Department."

Oh really? Wasn't it Velasquez who overruled IA's findings that Menocal did indeed sexually assault a minor? Wasn't it Velasquez who allowed Menocal to remain on the street despite multiple victims coming forward?

Oh, and look how quickly Velasquez took action! It only took 5 years to terminate Menocal after the first child victim came forward.

Side note: With Menocal gone Velasquez needs to find someone else to collect bribes from the strip clubs and other businesses. Perks of the job include rapid promotion to sergeant and numerous merit raises.

The FBI is working intelligently. They first arrested Menocal the dumbest and mentally weakest one of the group and will now break him so he snitches on the big fish AKA: Velázquez and Hernandez

I think it is time for the media and the Hialeah Community to understand who Sergio Velasquez truly is. He once flirted with a woman,(stripper) who was arrested by one of his officers for drunk driving. He paid for her defense. He had evidence removed from the evidence room. He then started dating this woman. The press needs investigate city hall. Why is it that a portion of the department heads, receptionist in different police stations are all related to Sergio or carlos hernandez, and are not qualified.

"We take all these allegations very seriously, we have been investigating this for quite a few years." Sergio Velasquez.

This sentence exemplifies exactly why Governor DeSantis should relieve Velasquez of his duties. Victim after victim comes forward, some only children, one ends up dead, while Velasquez is "investigating this for quite a few years."

Even though IA sustained the allegations of improper sex with minors Velasquez over rules them and continues the investigation in perpetuity, as Menocal remains on the street prowling for new victims!

For this reason Velasquez is every much of a danger to the public as Menocal is and needs to be relieved of duty by the governor.

Side note: Velasquez works for Carlos Hernandez, an ex cop, yet Hernandez seems to not want to get involved. In fact neither Velaquez, Hernandez or any of the city council members approached by the press has expressed any sympathy for the victims. How strange.

Comments: No tolerance? He let Menocal prey on the women and children of Hialeah for 5 years after the first victim complaint. Yes, the P0S covered for Menocal for 5 freaking years!!

Comment: Another lie! They were MERIT raises.

He did, however, note Menocal’s light disciplinary record before the sexual assault allegations, saying the sergeant had received “numerous awards and commendations for his actions as a police officer.”

Comment: Yes, he would uncover and arrest sex traffickers so he could continue to prey on underage victims under color of law.

Note: Corrupt Hernandez still doesn't want to comment. Velasquez despite his 2 press conferences has not said anything critical of Menocal. Neither wants Menocal to get angry and talk.
