Command staff is advising Knight that the newspaper story will blow over, so no further action is necessary. He is being advised to do nothing, at the time of this writing.

    2. Maultsby subsequently texted Bonner a threat, explaining to her that "snitches get stitches." He included an article about a "murdered snitch."

Is Maultsby's text a "threat" to harm Bonner for snitching on him to the Sarasota sheriff?

Is Kurt Hoffman providing Knight with that corporate-backed legal advice? LOL

Cool MAGA whistleblowing vs. SSO snitching

    Food for thought.
This week, SSO politics has exceeded MAGA politics... and internal SSO politics has resumed its rightful first place position in local news... again...

Is there a political difference between the MAGA whistleblower (Eric Ciaramella) & the SSO PIO (Kaitlyn Perez)?

Eric Ciaramella blew the whistle on Trump, while PIO Perez revealed the identity of the snitch, Cheraina Bonner, to the suspect, Jeff Maultsby. Maultsby then texted an innuendo death threat to Bonner. Ciaramella is also concerned about death threats.

After reading the comments in the paper it’s obvious how the community feels about Perez. She violated the public trust and willingly put someone in danger. Is this how the SSO treats victims of crime? I hope the Sheriff will come out publicly and denounce this behavior. If he doesn’t he condones it. Hoffman should be asked directly if this is what he would support as Sheriff. To say nothing publicly is cowardly.

Tom Knight is an extremely obstinate man. A documented example of Knight's stubbornness is when he refused a chief judge's lawful order to provide security to courthouses in Sarasota County. Knight said "no" to the chief judge. The judge was very gracious and he did not arrest Knight for contempt of court, but instead, the judge sent Knight's obstinacy to an appellate court, which reaffirmed the judges lawful order. A link to that infamous legal case is available upon request. The Sarasota Sheriff's Office is in the stone age with Knight's lack of common sense, as well as a lack of integrity. Lapdogs like Kurt Hoffman thrive under Knight.

Hoffman advised Trump to disobey the chief judge, which is what led to Knight's fiasco.

I guess the apples and oranges theory was correct. Ethics and integrity need not apply to those on the third floor. Thank you for leading by example.

It is uncomfortable and unsavory to see continuous internal unethical actions, but morally bankrupt senior staff members in Knight's passing administration will not be there forever. That's a fact.
