Let's review the facts of this two-step case:

1. Cheraina Bonner "snitched" on Jeff Maultsby by reporting his actions to the Sarasota sheriff.

2. Maultsby subsequently texted Bonner a threat, explaining to her that "snitches get stitches." He included an article about a "murdered snitch."

Is Maultsby's text a "threat" to harm Bonner for snitching on him to the Sarasota sheriff?

This week, SSO politics has exceeded MAGA politics... and internal SSO politics has resumed its rightful first place position in local news... again...

Is there a political difference between the MAGA whistleblower (Eric Ciaramella) & the SSO PIO (Kaitlyn Perez)?

Eric Ciaramella blew the whistle on Trump, while PIO Perez revealed the identity of the snitch, Cheraina Bonner, to the suspect, Jeff Maultsby. Maultsby then texted an innuendo death threat to Bonner. Ciaramella is also concerned about death threats.

After reading the comments in the paper it’s obvious how the community feels about Perez. She violated the public trust and willingly put someone in danger. Is this how the SSO treats victims of crime? I hope the Sheriff will come out publicly and denounce this behavior. If he doesn’t he condones it. Hoffman should be asked directly if this is what he would support as Sheriff. To say nothing publicly is cowardly.

Knight said "no" to the chief judge. The judge was very gracious and he did not arrest Knight for contempt of court, but instead, the judge sent Knight's obstinacy to an appellate court, which reaffirmed the judges lawful order. It is uncomfortable and unsavory to see continuous internal unethical actions, but morally bankrupt senior staff members in Knight's passing administration will not be there forever. That's a fact.
