One of the biggest complaints of Scott Israel was his prompting Sgt’s to Captain. This was unheard of.

Fast forward a few years and it really is just like the song. Meet the new boss, same as the old boss..... first you promote Benny from Sgt to Major and now you promote 3 Sgt’s to Captain. Is that because no Lieutenant wanted the promotion or did the Sheriff have no faith in the 50 lieutenants? Why should a Sgt study for the next Lieutenants exam? Why do good and study hard when all it takes is a magic wand? Same mistakes over and over again

Why even have a test? Totally crapping on everyone that studied and put forth the effort. No testing, no assessment for Lt and no experience at that rank and now they will be in charge of Lt’s and Sgt’s that worked and earned their rank.
