If the sheriff did nothing wrong why has he still not been cleared of wrongdoing from this investigation? I have read many posts from the Carmine Cronies that he has been cleared but no physical evidence of it (like all their other claims).

The suck-ups to crooked Carmine Marceno now to equate mentioning Marceno's felony activities (fraud, abuse of office) to being critical of ALL law enforcement. That is pathetic. Carmine Marceno does not stand for every deputy and cop in SW Florida. Marceno actually was never a legitimate sworn law enforcement officer, never legally eligible to take the exam, but took it anyway after falsifying his sworn law enforcement application. Fox 4 asked Marceno some legitimate questions about his past, Marceno refused to answer. Now Marceno's crew has the nerve to say Fox 4 is against law enforcement. Asking legitimate questions to a crooked Sheriff is not attacking law enforcement.

Why wait? It’s only dividing the agency and causing morale issues? I can’t see why one would wait unless there are issues. Just put up or shut up so we can all move on. We are all just tired of all the BS!

Our last Sheriff dealt with losers everyday
FBI agents were always on the way to pick him up
Year after year went by with nothing happening to him. Enjoying his retirement now.
Shoap was ran out of office after one failed term.
People of lee county are a smart group.
They dont want negative scumbags in office as you will see in August 2020.
