Marceno's bought & paid for response about Sheriffs Office secured gas pumps

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office said the device was sitting inside a pump at the Mobile at the intersection of Daniels Parkway and Tamiami Trail in Fort Myers.
They found it on Oct. 28.

LCSO had already inspected this pump.
Sheriff Carmine Marceno said they have inspected about 1,500 pumps since July.
That is when Lee County implemented new rules for gas stations, requiring them to add extra security to their pumps.
They are only responsible for inspecting the outside of the pumps, according to LCSO.
The Department of Agriculture is responsible for the inside.

So basically the Sheriff went on TV to support the hard work that ECU has been doing. This of course after Leavens called in his favor to WINK TV to discredit ECU. Leavens has literally went after almost every unit at LCSO, anything that he thinks can help destroy Carmine’s image, not caring about yours.
