It's really simple here are two ways to pay for it.

1) Trim the fat off of the command staff. It is way overbloated and too many losers trying to play Chief's right hand.

2) Drop WSH, they are billing approximately a million more per year than budgeted. This would pay for bodycams and a few more cops too.

Just because you're a simpleton doesn't mean that other people cannot creatively find ways to pay for the bodycams which are coming.

3) They could stop making all the BS self-promotional videos.

4) They could use forfeiture money.

5) Politicians could stop giving CRA grants to their friends, supporters and/or employers.

Bottom line is they could pay for them if they wanted them. They don't because they shudder at the thought of transparency and accountability. They abhor the thought of being in court and it not being their word against yours. How else they gonna win a case and not get sued for false arrest?
