I have two questions and a comment-
What is the starting pay?
And do they still have to wear long sleeves all year around?
The retirement system is the same as we are in now, so the good thing is your time will transfer, but it still takes a 30yr retirement for a police job in the State system or County that Gov. Scott screwed over.
It's in a City Police Dept. with a 20yr retirement. As I see it if you really want to spend a career in this job as a police officer.
