Well said. If these worthless leeches (and a couple of others like them) would retire this would be a much better agency. You could randomly throw darts at the roster to replace them and get better people. Unfortunately these leeches will retire someday but will return to their old posts, like DS and GS, in order to double-dip. Unless we get an outsider sheriff to clean house and not hire them back.

I can’t imagine SJ retiring and not come back in a year as assistant Chief deputy with his son working here. How is junior going to get promoted if daddy isn’t here. Plus, how will Sean’s ego handle being retired and being a no one. Look at what happen to Sergeant Dean L. He will never make it to LT, because daddy retired too earlier.

And it describes the attitude of every disgruntled 25 year grunt who ain’t never been promoted beyond private, says he does to want to be supervisor because he can’t get promoted and really does and is jealous as all hell of those who run the place and has no fking clue what it takes to run the operations. Wow. He knows a deputy’s name. Whew. Tough one. Bet he knows the name of every deputy he has fired too. He’s done that more often than any Sheriff before him. He loudly publicizes our failures monthly. He quietly celebrates our triumphs once a year. Once in a while he defends a deputy’s actions. But he is so out of touch because his command staff is out of touch. If anyone between the sheriff and the troops on the ground catches wind of anything that might be wrong they swoop down on it like King Kong. They assume, they react, they admonish and then ignore your defense. That’s George, Sean and Dan all rolled into one. Arrogant, self righteous, and completely disconnected from what actual deputies do.
