    Termination

Getting fired for accidentally discharging your gun on duty and a referral to SAO. Isn't that a little extreme punishment? Yes

Simply put, no. Elmer freaking Fudd should’ve been charged.

I don’t see it as being extreme at all. The moron was playing with his gun, removing it from the holster, while he was supposed to be protecting children. The only way to reach the trigger is to partially remove it from the holster. Completely unacceptable!!

40 hour suspension and reassignment should of been max. punishment without a prior disciplinary history.

A week suspension for shooting your gun in a school full of kids? Haha... Not hardly. It was time for him to go! I think the agency made the right call on that one.

Should’ve been charged with culpable negligence.
