I really do not think the local media, with their "Investigative Reporting" ability, would recognize a lie if it slapped them in the face. J. Staley, with her online blog, is as near as we have to accurate facts and comments.

I don't understand the mishandling of evidence part of this case. A rookie officer knows after the first day on the job, no in training before starting on the road that any evidence gets turned in to the evidence unit. And this man SC is a Lieutenant in charge of investigations how and why the norm changed for just this one case out of all the cases in the history of the ECSO is mind boggling. I know people who have been severely punished even lost their jobs over mishandling evidence nowhere near the seriousness of this incident. Not just the mishandling part but the part where a whole box of evidence went missing that's why ZW got kicked out of investigations is what SC said. How does that part not get mentioned.
