    This is a “no brainer.” She needs to be terminated or forced to retire - not demoted and allowed to stick around. As far as a command staff member allegedly coming to her aid and/or getting involved, in some capacity, with this case; oh, the irony, but not surprising.

    Our poor Chief probably has a hard enough time managing this cast of clowns he calls a command staff and getting them to just do their 9-5 job at a satisfactory level, much less attend extra assignments such as after hour events.

    How about our command staff just know and learn their areas, assignments, data, stats, and basic information for their own divisions before they feel “compelled” and “duty-bound” to get involved with a messy case like this?

    The truth around this place is, and has been, so obscured and ignored for a long time, and lies, so well practiced and established, especially with a few persons - some within the command staff, that it wouldn’t surprise me if this were, in fact true.

    The culture and work ethic of this command staff and others, mainly our tenured veterans, throughout this place, is sick, twisted, warped, lazy, incompetent and cynical. The standards for leadership rock bottom, actually, pull out a shovel and dig a bit deeper.

    Did a command staff member go out to the incident where she was 09-39? Has there been any attempt to further get involved? Is this:
    a) race preferential treatment
    b) gender preferential treatment
    c) meddling
    d) all of the above
    e) none of the above

    “Duds!” Useless, lazy, incompetent, attitudinal, and just plain stupid. Rewarded, promoted and protected, while doing nothing to contribute to their ranks or our department. Walk around with blank looks.
    No vision or understanding of police supervision, leadership and administration.

    Sorry, based upon what’s been reported, if true, she should be fired and, if there’s a command staff member overstepping their role and poking their nose into the case, they should “sit their a-& down!”
