So given all that we allegedly know and what was reported on this case, I think the department should probably terminate.

There seems to be a long list of alleged mishaps and reported lapses in judgement, supposedly tied to her - none of them seemingly more egregious and stupid than the most recent event.
The Chief MUST take ALL of this into account when deciding on how to act on this case and TERMINATION, or a strongly encouraged immediate retirement, in my opinion, seems like the only option.
Buy her a round of whatever she drinks, get her an Uber and send her off, far away from this place, so she won’t embarrass us, yet again.
Cheers 🍻🍷 🍸🍹 🥃

Place for everyone
She really did a good job of Shift Commander. Sometimes we have to blame what was real back then. Most Sgts sucked. No one could make a decision or they had no idea how to do law enforcement or just plain do boys for whoever was in charge. No supervision. Exceptions of course. Oren, Rodak...well that’s about it. I’m sure there were more good ones. But lack of supervision and/or lack of qualified training can ruin perfectly good officers. Anyone can get a paper from class, real knowledge and experience is key. I agree she needs to go but it is too bad. When one of us is wrong there are others who knew something was wrong but did nothing. We all own that.

She should be terminated. Chief cannot fold up like a chair to any lies, crying, whining, excuses and victim cards which could be played, like black female, employee assistance, poor her, wawawa. Fire her!

So there’s a command staff member, allegedly wanting to insert themself in this case and meddle. Guess who?

Just go away, Sgt. We don’t want this to become a fiasco and you shouldn’t either. Resign and take whatever time you have in FRS and do something else. We already have too many bad sergeants and this could potentially open up a position for someone more deserving, better qualified, competent and yes, sober.
