Anger management and treatment is available! here's some "physiology"!

ICD-10-CM Diagnosis Code F98.9: Unspecified behavioral and emotional disorders with onset usually occurring in childhood and adolescence.

or, Oppositional defiant disorder? Children (and adults with the psychological instability of children..yet who wear a badge and gun) with ODD are uncooperative, defiant, and hostile toward peers, parents, teachers, and other authority figures. They are more troubling to others than they are to themselves.

Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD) is thought to be caused by a combination of biological, psychological, and social factors. ODD tends to occur in families with a history of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), substance use disorders, or mood disorders such as depression or bipolar disorder. (let's go with Bi-polar)

Brain imaging studies have also suggested that adult-children with ODD may have subtle differences in the part of the brain responsible for reasoning, judgment and impulse control. (thats totally someone we all know!)

Psychological studies have also demonstrated that adult-children who display aggressive behavior have trouble accurately identifying and interpreting social cues from peers. (another bingo!)

Specifically, aggressive adult-children tend to see hostile intent in neutral situations. (theres that paranoid coming out!)

They also generate fewer solutions to problems and expect to be rewarded for their aggressive responses.

Lack of structure or parental (department?) supervision, inconsistent discipline practices, and exposure to abuse or community violence have also been identified as factors which may contribute to the development of ODD.

Is that you, or someone you know?

    wonder who this is?

..... severe, chronic mental disorder. opinion that this can best be described by the following diagnoses: Schizotypal Personality (principal diagnosis); Borderline Personality; Narcissistic Personality; Maj in partial remission; Schizoid Personality

It is our opinion that the appicant has met the criteria for the above diagnoses, his symptomatology above diagnoses, his symptomatology particular, these diagnoses do not sufficiently characterize the pattern of fixed grandiose, delusional, and paranoid ideas with possibility of aggressiive outbursts which (applicant) holds with regard to his abialites and self opnion.

It is our opinion that these delusions or delusionlike processes are currently the organizing and guiding influence in his life.

For these reasons, we do not believe that the Schizotypal Personality (or the combination of the four diagnoses given above) adequately conveys his grandiose thinking and serious defects in reality testing, insight and judgment.

We are also aware that in cases like (applicant), where the symptomatology is so complex and the differential diagnoses so difficult, that we are required to see the development and change of symptoms and the course of the illness over time to make a more specific diagnosis.

    Destructive Acts Feared

Based on the above, we believe that (applicant) would present danger to others, particularly in a position of authority, carrying of arms, or any high risk occupational field, where rational judegement and soundness of reasoning is required.

It is our opinion that he is not a suitable candidate for employment and could in the reasonable future be likely to engage in outwardly directed destructive acts, impulsive violence or chronic dishonesty.

Helpful tips for mental health and those "at risk" from those who are a risk to all

Types of personality disorder. Psychiatrists tend to use a system of diagnosis which identifies 10 types of
personality disorder. These types of personality disorder, and some of the characteristics identified by them, are here.

For each type, a diagnosis will not be made if you have only one or two of the characteristics.

The types are grouped into three categories: Suspicious, Emotional and Impulsive, Anxious,

paranoid, borderline avoidant, schizoid, histrionic, dependent, schizotypal, narcissistic, obsessive compulsive

    Narcissistic personality disorder. You may:

    • believe that there are special reasons that make you different, better or more deserving than others
    • have fragile self-esteem, so that you rely on others to recognize your worth and your needs
    • feel upset if others ignore you and don’t give you what you feel you deserve
    • resent other people’s successes
    • put your own needs above other people’s, and demand they do too
    • be seen as selfish and ‘above yourself’
    • take advantage of other people.

Do you know anyone like this?
