History Lesson on GIU:
It’s always been the sphincter of this place. Since it’s inception and rebranding, it’s had lousy leadership and been an agency wasteland and vipers pit.
EVERY Major, Captain, Commander and Lieutenant, and MOST Sergeants and Detectives who’ve worked there are morons. The entire unit is, and has always been, useless and worthless.

We need more than good investigators. We need new Majors, Commanders, Lieutenants and Sergeants.
Supervision and Administration in this place is horrible.

Our department can certainly do better, although therein lies the “elephant in the room.” (No, I’m not talking about our Union Prez).
Our administration, mid-level supervision and special assignments personnel, from senior members of command staff (Majors especially & Commanders) down through the ranks (Lieutenants & Sergeants) to our specialists (Detectives) are awful. They’re terrible and terrible makes more terrible. They can’t do better because they don’t know how and/or don’t care to.
