Pretty sad when an email notice goes out to all Lieutenants from the Chief requesting interested Captain candidates to provide letters of interest and only 2 Lieutenants actually initially provided letters of interest. One day prior to the last day to hand in letter of interest all Lieutenants who did not initially turned in letter of interest were contacted by the Chiefs Secretary reminding them to submit their letters of interest (Basically Strong Armed). Pretty sad time in this agency when hardly anyone is interested in a promotions because they are tired of dealing with the current command staff.
