I agree!! Definitely another black eye for Miami and the typical rude obnoxious Dade County resident. Who the hell puts an 18 wheeler horn on a regular vehicle—those two do..if that was my wife and kids in the car they would have freaked out with the sound of the horn. So I agree, black eye for Miami but definitely not for MDPD.

This IS a black eye for MDPD. If you read the article, 2 witnesses claimed they did not see the wife hitting the officer; yet, she was charged with battery on a LEO. Maybe the detective should've done a better job of identifying himself a PO once he exited his vehicle since he was in plain clothes and was probably thought to be a civilian by the suspect. A lot of take away from this incident.
