How come Sheriff Bob won't answer the media's request about the purchase of his new plane. What does Bob have to hide on this one he claims it's not newsworthy. This new plane was not in last year's budget or this year's budget that seems kind of odd.

Instead of spinning this into a positive light by explaining the possible benefits of such an asset, the secrecy comes off like it was a frivolous or nefarious purchase.

Didn’t Bob recently cry to the board about a laundry list of things this agency needed and asked for more money? Nothing mentioned about a new plane which we don’t need.

More than likely, it will either collect dust, become a personal toy for the admin, or used a way to disguise the actual cost of questionable “business trips.”

It is all a part of his not so secret campaign to run for governor. His scam "sheriff of the year" award, his presidency of the Fl Sheriffs Assoc, his MSD invest, SRO law and his tour of the state to try and get school boards to bite are all part of his campaign for governor. The plane is nothing more than a campaign tool at taxpayer expense. He didn't want to ask for it publically, because he knows there is no real legitimate purpose for it. But it's not news.
