Israel was not a good sheriff and shouldnt be re-elected, but that doesnt change the fact that Russ Diperna never should have been the position he was given. He had zero qualifications. Unfortunately, depirna wasn't the only one given a position he wasn't qualified for. It also goes to show Israel's poor decision making and friendships with back stabbing scum like Depirna.

Fired by Lamberti for ethical lapses, Israel should never have allowed Russ to walk back in the door. No one is disputing the facts in the article. That amazes me that they are trying to discredit the author but nothing about the facts in the article. Sounds like Russ is telling the truth. Scott you better hope people don't do any real digging.

It was just recycled Nezar Hamze stuff that was published lots of times in the years leading up to Israel's 2016 reelection ...... that "20" Rosenthal had weekly protests outside the PSB about it!!! ..... Fondo used it in one of his attack pieces against Israel. The Democratic voters knew every bit of this and just didn't care then. And won't care now. That fact that Russ was so jealous of Lisa, and still licking his wounds months after Tony fired him, that he went off and wrote this poison pen letter is the saddest news today.
