We need to clean up this city!

    Officers:

It is evident that corruption in our city runs deeper than any citizen or business owner can ever imagine, and it will take the sincere cooperation of honest leaders, activist citizens and law enforcement officers of the highest rank to remedy this malady.

The city of Hialeah has a long history of corruption, spanning back decades. Even in 1960, brave officers reported problems within the police force. Their efforts led to a Grand Jury investigation and remedial recommendations. You can view this on pages 8 and 9 of the report: https://www.miamisao.com/publication...s/gj1960f4.pdf

I urge every Hialeah police officer who is clean, honest and wants the best for our city, its citizens, businesses, for themselves and the force to join us in this fight. Let's clean up this city!

Haha Keep dreaming! Who would take action to clean it up? It's no secret that Mayor Hernandez and Chief Velasquez were both shaking down the Sosa brothers chop shop operation together....a google search will show that. So it's logical to assume he's also a recipient of the payola Valasquez receives shaking down the strip clubs. So rule out the mayor. The city council? Meek sheep who would who are afraid of the mayor and chief.
FDLE? Nope. They don't follow through anymore. Remember they labeled the entire Menocal run Sweetwater PD an "organized crime entity"....then did nothing? A Hialeah cop stepping up? Watch what happens the first time they start asking the wrong questions. Nope. This place is so corrupt that an inner circle cop can sexually assault a juvenile right there in the station and not even receive so much as a suspension. Nothing is going to change anytime soon.
