Pedophiles from throughout the United States are answering our calls-for-service. The more we advertise to pedophiles, the more they come. The internet is a HUGE advertising market for pedophiles.

Wouldn't it be ironic if one of those rounded up in the operation was a retired captain, who now resides in Montana and had once impregnated a 15 year old. Would knightmare actually follow through with prosecuting him? If he does then that would vindicate retired sgt C.I. and if he didn't then it would just prove what we already know about knightmare.

After each online sex sting, Sheriff Tom Knight has historically met with the media to display posters of arrestees. However, that tradition abruptly stopped after Knight put Hamid Keshmirian, 62, on public display.

According to the arrest report, a [female] detective entered an online adult dating app called “Skip the Games” and pretended that she was a 14-year-old girl looking for sex for $200. Audio conversations show that Keshmirian was leery about meeting an underage girl. He appeared hesitant and turned down the detective’s advances. He later reconsidered and met with the detective and was arrested for “lewd and lascivious” conversations. Keshmirian, 62, then bonded out of jail and killed himself with a gunshot wound to the head.

Sarasota defense attorney Derek Byrd said government is going too far. “At some point the government is going too far and crossing the line into entrapment to catch an alleged bad guy. Law enforcement is entering adult dating sites to ensnare an alleged sex offender. Law enforcement should be expending resources by visiting websites that minors and children actually frequent."

Knight said, “I want people to believe that anytime they [are contacted in an adult website by] someone underage, then it could be my detective.”

Byrd said, "I have seen no evidence that children are entering adult dating sites to look for adult partners. This is a fantasy that is created solely by law enforcement.”

Knight did not comment on why the press conferences stopped.
