Giuliani removes Pct Capt. Perfect example

In 1998 James Volpe rammed a plunger in a Haitian immigrants ass almost killing him. Nobody died. Giuliani bulldozed the entire Pct, forcing many to resign. A few years later, a cop off duty killed an entire family while driving drunk. Come to find out he was drinking while on duty at the pct. the Capt at the pct, Capt Deprisco was one of the most respected Capt’s in Brooklyn. The community came to his defense when Giuliani forced him to retire. Giuliani didn’t care, because someone was to be held accountable for the actions of others. In Parkland 17 people, mostly students were killed. DeSantis held Israel responsible, because that’s what great leadership does. Israel should have been removed. Some of you just don’t get, especially Israel.

In Brooklyn, parents who care about their children don't send them to public schools. Public schools are for the Promise type element. That's where Broward is headed. Every time Osgood entertains us with the latest malaprop, more parents remove their kids from public school. BCPS has put itself on the map as a county headed toward segregated type schools as a direct result of the lax policies of the SBBC, law enforcement and idiotic voters, which make the schools unsafe regardless of the new cameras, locked gates, added security, single point entry etc. The days of approving more funds for security are over. Those who had school security demands are leaving. It's becoming a socio-economic status issue. Parents will be considered negligent or "ghetto" for sending their kids to a public school.

So, what you are saying is that a person's employees or subordinates commit any action which is viewed negatively that the employer or supervisor should be terminated, even if the action was taken without the employer's or supervisor's knowledge? If a clerk at McDonald's punches a customer in the face, the CEO gets fired. Got it.

This isn't leadership, it is scapegoating. In Giulianni's case, if he really believed that the higher up is responsible for all actions of his subordinates, he would have resigned as Mayor. He did not do that, though, did he? No, he forced one of HIS subordinates to take the heat and resign.

Of course, in Israel's case, none of the actions of his deputies caused the death or injury of anyone. None of the departmental policies in place caused or allowed the shooting to occur. SCAPEGOAT.

Of course the BCSB, which was directly responsible for the security at the campus and whose employees failed to notify the office upon seeing a person who they knew was not supposed to be on campus enter with a rifle case are held blameless.

And Cruz should be given a box of lollipops and sent on his way, correct?

Holy crap, were you in a cave in that day, or over the next few weeks? 17 people shot dead, and those kids waited 48 minutes to get help. You’re a freakin loser. Israel should have been removed by governor Scott. Somebody had to be held accountable. Scott Israel was and always will be incompetent.

You do realize that all the victims had been shot and the shooter was leaving campus within 8 minutes of walking onto it? You do realize that the entire shooting incident took only a little over 5 minutes? You do realize that th BSO did not know a shooting was in progress, until all of the victims on the first floor had been shot? You realize that all the victims had been shot by the time the third deputy arrived on the scene? You do realize that once the shooting stops, the tactics change from an active shooter search and neutralize to containment and take into custody? You do realize that 13 minutes after the shooting started, officers, both CSPD and BSO entered the building? You do realize that the security of the campus was the responsibility was the BB, not the BSO? You do realize that three school employees saw Cruz on campus with a rifle case and failed to notify the office?

You want an elected official to be responsible, then suspend the BCSB. The sheriff was not responsible for the shooting and nothing his personnel could have done would have save thee lives of 11 people and the other wounded on the first floor and possibly no one would have been saved on the third floor.

I cannot believe I just read this. Tactics change? WHAT?????
You better look for another career my friend. The fact that you just put your ignorance in writing is the scariest thing I have ever seen. I don’t know where you received your training, but it’s a testament to BSO’s complete and utter failures. And that’s why Israel is gone. I want to laugh at this, but not at the expense of those poor kids.
