Pinellas Child Protection Investigator Charged with Filing False Reports
https://www.baynews9.com/fl/tampa/ne...-false-reports
Martin claimed she was overwhelmed by her workload. Maybe so but she should have documented it via COC and ran with it to the state rather than falsify interviews. Got to the media directly and have it look into it and question Bob why CPID is understaffed. Put him on the hot seat instead of getting fired and arrested to face felony charges.
Notice that Bob hasn't done a press conference on the Adams Arms AR15 debacle. No political gain from that one so don't expect one.

Quit grasping at straws Bob hater. He addressed the Adams Arms "debacle" in a department wide email. The arrest of the CPI Investigator is important and the public were notified. No grandstanding no posturing. You may not like the Sheriff but he is the best of the 3 I have worked for - no question.

Agree! Nobody works harder! He’s not perfect but better than the two before him. Do we do press conference when other equipment fails = NO. Does the public care =NO. Did the Sheriff put out 2 agecnywide emails putting it all on the table =YES. What is OP= NEGATIVE HATER.

Notice how Bob always has a news conference when he fires someone who screwed up to crow about the responsibility, accountability and transparency of his administration?
Except when he screws up, then the issue gets covered up, no news conference, no media articles, nothing. Bob is a fraud not a sheriff.
Rice and Coats combined did not do as much grandstanding, coverups and bragging as narcissist Bob.
They were not perfect but they were a lot more fair with deputies and less corrupt than Bob.

The person got caught and is being investigated. What would you do if you were sheriff? I know Bob is not perfect but he gets the job done. ***** and whine, or run against him. Who would you rather have? Some Uhuru puppet like St Pete's chief? When Bob is gone you'll whine about the next sheriff.

Sheriff Bob Gualtieri forgot to mention at the news conference how he will increase the staff in CPID in order to have adequate coverage and ensure no child is ignored or abused.

Total BS! Rice and Coats let people get away with a lot of stuff. The difference is that train stopped and the current Sheriff calls it out. Under Everett and JIm everything was swept under the rug and hide. Bob is out there with it and thats why you see it. Everett did so much shady shi* and Jim was asleep and on vacation all the time so they let people slide. Bob call people out. Like it our not people are held to standards now.

At least Rice and Coats showed a little bit of humanity, objectivity and decency and did not fire or hammer people unnecessarily. They cared about employees unlike Gulatieri who takes great pleasure in firing and issuing harsh disciplinary actions, then brags abut it to the media for political gain. Except for the ones who are politically connected, they are not held responsible and their mistakes are covered up. This why Gulatieri is personally and professionally disliked by most members of the agency, including his inner circle. People have watched what he has done to other people and know he is vindictive, evil and only cares about himself.
