Keeps making hires like this? This means 20 years expereince, tested and tried under FDLE and SAO investigations and cleared by the very department which fired him. ok once you ever get a job in LE you'll get it but in the mean time keep the drive through time under 2 minutes and be certain to thank people for coming in.

As suggested on the other thread, all Weathers needs to do is just convince the State Attorney’s Office to write a letter saying they were wrong. Until then he puts any case he is involved with in jeopardy as the SAO has stated “ there is a legitimate concern as to Detective Donald Weathers’ judgment and truthfulness” and they questioned whether their office could “ utilize him as a witness in current and future cases.” This goes away with that.
Then all the naysayers will have to shut their mouths about that one, and all that’s left for Weathers to clear up is withholding evidence for 6 years. He did give it up after all—better late than never.

Exactly! PROVE he withheld it, it was "misplaced". I'd tell Weathers to go on the offensive, and put the SAO on the spot make them retract their letter, since he was found clear. Go public since there is no such thing as bad publicity, and what are they going to do, bring up allegations that were unfounded. Go a step further and call a press conference and use the media on themselves.
Until the SAO can perfect the intent-o-meter, which has to better than ANYTHING they have going on now, its the SAO Salem Witch Hunt Unit against Weathers exonerated word. He doesn't even need to write a letter, just copy the letters and findings of him cleared and highlight in yellow those parts for the stupid to read and there is no problem. The SAO where if you can't get a job out of law school, they are always hiring. Pleeeeaaaasse.

Its the other way around. Any case involving the SAO is in jeopardy and as a cop and citizen YOU and EVERYONE ELSE should have "legitimate concern as to the judgement and truthfulness" of the SAO and EVERYONE should question "utilizing the SAO in current and future cases" What credibility do they have? Constitutional Cretins, Due Process Dunce Unit, Probable Cause Illusionists. If Weathers had any nerve, he'd go after them as publically as they and the accomplice no news media did. Weathers was cleared, 101 should call a press conference and live up to his rep. No respect if any less than an in their face offensive.

And yet the deputies keep doing a great job! Don’t worry about what the admin has in their past it’s ultimately about how well the Sheriffs Office is providing services to the citizens of the County. It appears the Sheriff’s Office is doing a great job and yes there’s always room for improvement in any business but they continue to strive to do better.

The Admin as you put only had experience and leadership ability in their past and anyone selected for hiring has the same potential. The Sheriff is doing a great job because of the choosing the right people for the right job. Public opinion is underinformed and not qualified to really comment because they are the public and are not professionals so they simply mean well but don't understand.

What are the deputies going through? They’re still getting paid, making arrest and answering their calls right? Give me a break you sound like the liberal news calling for Trumps impeachment. Worry about you the deputies are grown men and women getting paid to protect the citizens of Hendry County nothing more. They were fine before, they’re fine during and they’ll be fine after Weathers’ departure from the agency. You really need to get a life hater
