It looks like Sheriff Gulatieri made a mistake on his decision to buy Adams Arms rifles based on Pasco's recommendation.
It also looks like the Pasco County Sheriff's Office had a conflict of interest because Adams Arms was located in Pasco County so it received preferential treatment and recommendations from the agency.
The question is, did anyone in Pasco SO personally benefit from these recommendations, using their positions for personal gain, financial or otherwise?

Interesting that a Pasco FTO named Corporal Len Longo pushed hard for these weapons as if he had a personal vested interest. He is the one that "recommended" them to the PCSO and Bob and FTO Seymour. Then we have FTO Seymour here soliciting the Sheriff and really pushing hard for these guns. As if the AA MO is to cozy up to FTO's and somehow convince them to pitch their arms to their bosses. If I was going to investigate any bribes or kickbacks I would start there.

Don't forget that former Pasco Sheriff Bob White was working for AA.

It all makes sense now. White and Longo were "bird-dogging" for Adams Arms to sell rifles to other agencies. They had a quid pro quo deal and the more clients they hooked up the higher the discount for the rifles sold to their own agency. Additionally Adams Arms was a firearms manufacturer located in Pasco. White probably called every sheriff in Florida to sell them Adams Arms rifles. Longo probably talked to our people in training and armory trying to sell them on Adams Arms. He and White got some kickbacks and freebies for bringing in customers, no doubt.
Tons of conflicts of interest here and corruption. Talk about using public positions for personal gain. This is something the Florida Attorney General should investigate and prosecute because it involves elected sheriffs.
Best thing for Bob to do is to go public with this scandal and fire the people responsible for giving him bad advice and any who personally benefited from the sale.

Nobody has been fired or even disciplined, no news conference so that means the decision to buy Adams Arms rifles was made at a very high level and recommended to the sheriff who approved it. It was bad advice from people not qualified to evaluate the rifles and offer their opinions.
So it had to be DS, SJ or GS or all of them. They are protected so the incident will be covered up even though it wasted a couple of hundred thousand dollars of the taxpayers' money. Good job Bob!
I hope the local media gets a hold of this story and digs deep to uncover the incompetence and corruption of Bob's administration.
