How they came to buy these is the issue. The fact they didn’t work is just life. At $1000 even 200 was only $200,000. Millions, not quite. But someone made the decision to buy these even when they knew they had problems with the first order. I’d love to know what the final straw was.
There were a lot more than 200, but I don't know the total number. Some of the AA's were listed at over two grand a piece.

Not so with Adams Arms, they were known to be garbage at the time when the agency bought them.

The second issue is any conflicts of interest such as gifts, payoffs, nepotism, etc. in order for Adams Arms to get the agency contract.
This isn’t true at all. Anyone who has been into guns for a while knows AA’s were highly sought rifles and the company had a good reputation early on. To say they were known to be garbage is very misleading and shows you don’t know wtf you’re talking about when it comes to guns.

    Really?

Let's see: S&W revolvers - proven quality, Beretta pistols, Glock, all proven top quality. Remington 870 shotguns, proven quality and performance. Then comes the Adams Arms AR15 purchase when much better alternatives were widely available. It was either an incredibly stupid decision or someone got a kickback.

Whoever made this decision deserves some sort of punishment for wasting agency money, endangering its members and potentially the public.

The Intrepids were a scandal because they were pushed through by that dufas forensics guy turned fleet manager turned whatever the hell else he was. That guy was shady. Read the memo the Sheriff put out today. Final straw was the rifle failed to fire. Decision to by was based on memo from Matt in training. No disaster when it is all hanging out there for everyone to see. They are going to get there money back from AA to. So where is the shi* show other than the one made up by The Clown Candidate For Sheriff James McRagsdale.

Adams Arms is bankrupt so no refund will be coming to any of its clients. Its creditors will get first dibs of whatever property exists.

Evidently someone mislead and lied to the sheriff in order to seal the Adams Arms deal for reasons known only to the liar. The sheriff should investigate this matter and punish the individual accordingly. Someone has to be held responsible for this.

What makes you so sure that Bob wasn't in on the shady deal from the beginning? What makes you say that he was lied to? His signature has to be on the purchase order, so what did he personally get for putting that signature there?

Way back when the agency went to AR it was Chief Deputy D. S. Who sold the administration on the A. A. Just like he sold them on G4S.

So BG could not google "Adams Arms Failures" or "Adams Arms defects" on his own? Danny got quite a few perks from both transactions. Don't tell me Bob didn't get a thing.
