Yeah thanks to you Mr Fuji Adam's life is done and over. As a coward you were able to move on. Make no mistake there were others who rushed to LMH like Eppler for no good reason but to leave an active crime scene. Now more than ever better know who is your backup.

He is a part of the problem and clique at FMPD. He already hung himself. There is no forgiveness for being a coward in this line of work.

Another useless bum talking their shit. Let the man be a hero, something not even your kids will ever see you as.

I know you didn’t know Adam and weren’t there that night, so if you’re interested in knowing about him or what happened that night, I’ll be at the red brick building.

What's gonna happen when those who knew about this in sworn statements lied and they still work here. At this point i see more embarrassing press and the SAO dropping cases of these current officers. Even a mentally challenged person can put this together. How did DW know about all this if he never worked it? He was off that day. All he knew was second hand from those who did work. Hearsay... Stay tuned the hammer is gonna drop soon b!tches

Fort Myers PD likely had video of former captain getting sex act for years

    Published:November 14, 2019 3:35 PM

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement believes a controversial video shows a now-former Fort Myers Police Dept. captain engaged in a sex act while undercover. According to discover evidence the state made public, investigators believe FMPD had the video for years and nobody did anything about it.

On March 14, 2013, then Lt. Jay Rodriguez records himself during an undercover prostitution sting. FDLE investigators believe Rodriguez engaged in a sex act then tried to cover it up. Contained within 745 pages of documents is evidence that Rodriguez then wrote what now appears to be a false narrative about what happened inside the massage parlor. That false narrative became part of the official report.

FDLE launched an investigation in February of this year after a WINK News investigation. Now, we know a fellow officer, Donald Weathers, told FDLE he saw the video a couple of days after the sting in 2013. Weathers said Officer Jason Greene showed it to him and Officer Wolfgang Daniel. Weathers admitted he was too scared to report what he saw because of the power Rodriguez had. But, he admitted he made a copy of the video should something ever happen. In their statements to FDLE, Greene and Daniel denied they ever knew about the video.

Then, there is former FMPD Officer O’neil Kerr. He is the man who obtained the video and helped make it public. Initially, he filed a public records request with the FMPD for the video. But the city said they could not locate it. We now know the footage was likely in the city’s possession for years. When FDLE executed a search warrant, it discovered the video on a hard drive Rodrigez had access to.

Kevin Anderson, a Fort Myers councilman and former Fort Myers police officer, said what is in the discovery evidence concerns him. Anderson told WINK that on the surface, it appears as though there was not a big effort by FMPD to get to the bottom of what happened.

What a disgrace, shows how corrupt this place is. It will never change. Forget about the failed reality cuban porn star Mr small penis. This just makes us all look bad to the public how the Department conducted this investigation like keystone kops.

FORT MYERS City leaders want transparency at FMPD amid former captain’s sex accusations
    Published:November 15, 2019 4:45 PM

We spoke to Fort Myers Mayor Randy Henderson and Councilman Kevin Anderson about how they feel Fort Myers Police Department must move forward amid internal issues at the police department.

Recently, prosecutors brought forward evidence against Jay Rodriguez, a former Fort Myers police captain, who is accused of having sex with a prostitute on camera and on duty — made public for everyone to see.

Anderson went as far to say it’s time for FMPD to get in front of the negative headlines and be transparent. If not, leaders like Anderson worry FMPD may never regain public trust from community members.

“It continues to bubble and continues to be a mark against the police department,” said Anderson, a former Fort Myers police officer.

The video that captures Rodriguez during a 2013 undercover sting remains under scrutiny. Anderson said no one at the police department did anything about it.

“I’ve maintained that captain Rodriguez did not do this in the vacuum,” Anderson said. “There are other people who have knowledge and who have participated. So far, we have not seen any reports on that.”

We know FMPD did an internal investigation into Rodriguez two years ago from the prosecutor’s discovery evidence made public this week. FMPD closed it and took no action. The report is not in Rodriguez’s personnel file, and FMPD won’t release it to us.

“What I’m hopeful is the department would get out in front of these issues,” Anderson said. “Don’t wait til they surface. Don’t wait til media knocks on their door. Be out front. Be transparent and take care of these issues. Stay on top of them. Complete them, and show the public you’re on top of them.”

Mayor Henderson shared his own statements with us via text message in response to how he feels the police department should act, and he told us FMPD’s hiring of an inspector general to investigate possible misconduct is a good start at the department.

“The objective was and continues to be to get the truth out,” Henderson said. “And this is exactly what we see coming forward.”
