Details go quick but if you’re fast you can make around $5k a year and that’s pushing it.

DFC 2 years and Cpl is a supervisor spot so it’ll take around 7 years at the earliest to get it

How is it working for Charlotte County?

Looking to move down in October.

If you enjoy writing a report for every contact you make and asking citizens for every single piece of their lives so you can document it in your government database all for a public assist call then yeah that’s fine. Prepare for the sheriff to throw you under the bus as he kneels in compliance to his overlords. Zero OT.

Absolute lie. No OT. Only agency that flexes you out if you stay over for an arrest, training, SWAT callout, ect. Any way they can F you they will. Head a little south to the next CCSO.

As you can read above, until a new Sheriff is elected. Don’t bother coming here unless you like being a robot working for nothing. No future here unless you’re related to someone in the command staff. If you try to jump ship and go to another agency, you’re black flagged and you’ll never get another job in law enforcement. I know plenty who just simply resigned and went private sector because they can’t take the none sense here any longer.
