Inner department relationships, have been going on for years, The only time it becomes a issue, if it embarrasses the Sheriff! If one wants to cheat on their husband or wife, the they shouldn't be trusted, to do police work honestly. If you can so willing break your voles of marriage, then breaking your oath to office, should be a no brainer.

There have been plenty of careers destroyed by on the job relationships and marital infidelity so no lengthy lecture is needed. Play at your own risk but be sure that when someone complains or talks to a spouse or some mutual friend spills the beans, etc, etc. your career will be over, especially if Bob thinks it might tarnish his public image or embarrass the agency in the media. Most of these affairs end up badly for at least one party.
