Yes. I was told we have people in our IT Department that can do forensic tracking at no charge. I’m not sure why they weren’t asked to check the computer. Go figure???

You are paying for unclean hands to do this work. Translation is the dirt on these people is not owned by IT, but leasdership gets the goods from the 3rd party and decide how to own these employees. iDK, was this put out to bid or Miami internal deal with friends and family. It's so hard to track these actions down when it's not transparently done.
We were tracked internally by IT....I was even provided 'another' computer at one point to grey out my history .tracking .but hated that co-workers in the club had info I wasn't privy to . Nothing to worry about but false positives are a known tactic for pushing influence. Sad when we come to mistrusting .

It's liability. Taxpayer dollars are not to be misused by employees. Agency has to babysit on that for liability.

Years ago when those 976 number started, officers working the back gate were calling them. Only thing that happened was they had to pay, the tolls of the calls that were made on their time working the gate. No rips or nothing else, just told if it happens again your gone. The reason the city with outside to have this done, was trust. Were not trusted to do a complete and fair investigation, just in case (again) it's one of the F&F. So on the downlow, they can choose who, to nail.
