Of course Carlos Gimenez Jr., sure you would like Daddy to continue to run his criminal empire fixing contracts and as Sheriff protecting all of his lobbyists and contractor friends like the Munillas- you know, they of the FIU bridge fame!
We know you like to come on here and wish us all kinds of evil. Must be that narcotic use past you were arrested for and your long rap sheet.
Btw, your wife two-times you. Just ask the Diaz de la Portilla brothers.

This discussion about “who will be a sheriff candidate” is shooooo stoooopid. You all posting on here are seriously a bunch of morons.
Who will be a “good” sheriff candidate and who will actually wind up becoming the actual sheriff are two totally different discussions. What’s a “good” candidate??
A person who will cater to the needs of the officers / deputies?? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
    What a joke!!
This is a political contest, a very high stakes game of hot air, showmanship, lies, lies, lies, and cold, hard, cash. If you think mayors get away with dirt and kickbacks and cronies and favors, get ready for more of the same with an elected sheriff.
This will have absolutely nothing to do with good law enforcement. This will all be about winning and losing and scamming votes and playing to the ultimate monster, yeah, your close and personal friend, the local and national media.
It’s gonna be an embarrassment of piled-high bullshit lies on top of piles of horseshit promises and enhanced smiles and photo ops in the poor neighborhoods and youth centers and Thanksgiving turkeys and getting palms greased in the rich ones.
Who actually winds up on top of that huge stinking pile of Miami-Dade sludge could give less than a f$&@ about you or I. But I can promise you it will have zero ZERO ZEEROOOO to do with sound policing practices.
Y’all remember Ken Jenne? Wound up in singin’ The Prison Blues? Guy was not a cop. Never wore a badge, never sat in a hot car surveilling a trap house, nothing. Had the skills to get the $$backers$$ to prop up his campaign and WIN. It’s all about winning.
So you low-IQ slugs talking about who would be “good” would be better served discussing what Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny are bringing your momma for Three Kings Day. It’s pointless and stupid. It shows how very little you understand about politics.
Is it better or worse than an appointed director? Who cares? The bottom line is we are a county in a state like thousands of other counties in the US that are supposed to have a goddam sheriff. It’s the way it’s done everywhere, and that’s the way it’s gonna be done here. ITS A BAD IDEA WHO’s Time Has Come.
As a rank and file officer, sergeant or even a lieutenant, the bullshit’s not gonna change in color or texture or odor. As an appointed administrator, the bullshit will be different, as they’ll be the direct appointees of an elected official. It raises the temperature a couple dozen or so degrees, but hey, they’ll adjust. Heads will roll, other stuff gets stuffed under the rug. There will lots of disgusting behind the scenes grossness, just like there is today.
And say what you want about JP, with the dancing and the antics. Know what that’s called? Publicity and name recognition. And if the example of one sleazebag crook (Trump) in the White House is any indication, I hope you drooling nitwits realize that there is no such thing as negative publicity. At least not anymore. And I’m not saying JP is sleazy or anything of the kind or even nearly a shadow of the lowlife dirtbag Trump, but he better discard his morals and dig deep into the mud if he’s gonna throw his hat into the ring.
Because we’ve seen what a rat f!&@ CG is and what he is willing to do to get ahead. Whoever can get the votes, by hook or crook, will be your next boss, losers. Paying old ladies to get other old ladies to put together piles of absentee ballots and mail them in? No problem. Disbanding the unit who was gonna investigate the possible corrupt actions? No sweat. Kinda like the president firing the head of the FBI? Get your heads out of your asses and wake up.
Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.
Stop daydreaming and stop trying to nail the 33 at the station or the one who rung up your groceries while your wives are at home dealing with your rotten kids. Develop some worthwhile personal goals and concentrate on family. Use your career to benefit you and those important to you.
And learn to speak and write properly. Most of you sound absolutely stupid and write like you’ve never heard the terms “paragraph” or “grammar.” Your ignorance and stupidity are not anything to be proud of. You should have paid attention to those underpaid teachers who were trying to make upright walking humans out of you. Your ineptitude is only an example of how deeply we need to scrape the bottom of the barrel to staff a policing organization, even one as good as this one.
Watch your back and back each other.

This person has no point, at least not one worth debating. What he has is a wave of prodigious repressed anger. He should seek help before his brain explodes.

Now to a more pertinent matter. How many of you have been exposed to the Risk Protection Order process? Particularly you in the Priority Response Team. Learn the Risk Protection Order Procedures as if by rote, for there will come a day you may need to seek one. Open the below link and learn:
