Atomic number 79 digger & the hairless oldster
It just keeps getting worse for sheriff candidate Paul Fern. His domestic partner (which he mentioned in his press release in Sarasota H-T) is a heavy load, having recently been slapped with a court judgment of $33,818.19 on 9/16/2019. Just keep the meathooks off campaign contributions!

Nothing to see there, folks. Instead look at his campaign F'book supporters, nearly all are ineligible to vote in Sarasota,
such as his old acquaintances in Minnesota who didn't give a dime to his campaign. Fine friends. Oh, and how about

Instead of pursuing an education and/or building a stable career, Fern went job hopping - worked as a jailer, then skipped out of state to work as a federal babysitter on airline flights, then worked as a road deputy - never rising in rank. Nothing commendable in candidate Paul Fern's background. At his age, it's too late to recover from his underwhelming life choices.

So being a Deputy Sheriff is a poor life choice? Thanks for letting us know how you feel about the people who serve you everyday. If they have no rank they have little value? Do you work in the current command?

Never having been promoted does not mean unqualified. It means that those who make the decisions on promotion feel threatened by someone who can do the job better than them. If the person takes the promotional exam(s) and, unlike our IA stooges, passes them, the powers to be just stop promoting once they have reached the person they don't like.
