Ok the people in Tallahassee sold us an experienced police leader, head of a large training company , expert in police tactics , military veteran who worked for FHP and Coral Springs PD who only left police work to pursue financial success which he achieved and was willing to “sacrifice” to come back to policing.

It’s time for the BSO to get behind a candidate that is not stained by recent events. Smalling actually took the tests and went through the ranks at BSO. He left when powertrac became too much, and something he didn’t support. But when he left he went on to be a real chief in a tough City. He left that job unstained and of his own accord. College, an actual Marine Corp officer, experience , this is the only legitimate candidate out there right now. It’s time to move his name to the top.

You obviously didn’t work for Lauderhill PD!! Smalling was the worst Chief that Lauderhill has ever had and that includes Palmer!!!! He was given a choice to resign or be fired. Nobody voluntarily leaves a police Chief job making $150k a year because they have a burning desire to teach teenagers at Broward Community College for $40k a year. Smalling is the personification of everything that is wrong with police leaders in today’s society. He is a racist with zero communication skills. Voters in Broward County, be smart and keep Smalling as far away from BSO as possible. Ask anybody who worked for Lauderhill PD under his tyranny and they will confirm what a disaster he was as a chief. Perhaps he should apply for the Baltimore Chief job.
