Trinity jail kitchen worker smuggled in cell phones, batteries for cash

Let's see if Bob has the guts to fire Trinity Food Services. This is not the first time its employees have introduced contraband into the jail facilities. This instance could not be covered up though. Several employees had been caught having sex with inmates over the years but nothing was done about it except terminations.

The other security problem is that Trinity civilian employees could walk into the jail and nobody every checked them or their bags. That's how a lot of contraband was getting in.

They arrested dour people on felony charges. What else can they do? Publicly flog them? I’m pretty sure they can’t work in a jail again absent being a trustee now.

That's all well and good but the point is that Trinity employees have engaged in contraband smuggling and improper inmate relationships since it got the jail contract. Bob should grow a pair and get another kitchen vendor, one which hires more honest people. Someday one of these Trinity employees might smuggle in something really dangerous like drugs or weapons and endanger jail staff.

It's okay. No one cares about the jail staff anyway.

If the incompetent lazy jail deputies did their job and checks this wouldn't have happened

This has nothing to do with the jailers, it has to do with the jail food vendor (Trinity) hiring people of questionable background and character to work in the jail kitchens. People who have no problem with breaking the law by selling contraband to inmates. In this case it was only phones and batteries (that we know of) but there have been cases of drug, alcohol and tobacco smuggling. Someday it might be weapons, who knows. Criminals are capable of anything.

"only" phones. Phones are the back bone of a huge criminal enterprise and communications network which can connect very dangerous criminals with the outside. If you think cell phones and batteries are not dangerous in a corrections/detention setting you should be retrained immediately.

You need to be retrained in reading comprehension.
