They didn’t send him back to patrol because they saw patrol as a punishment. It’s because they knew he was too much of a puzzy to handle patrol. Only real cops can handle patrol and the agency DOES appreciate the work of patrol deputies even though the disgruntled failures lie and say they don’t. I know for a fact that the sheriff appreciates all patrol deputies. He cares very much and he’s trying to make things better but it takes time. The small-minded losers think changes happen over night. That’s not realistic and smart people understand this.

There are a lot of LEO jobs and agencies out there who have more respect for their members. Life is too short to put up with a mediocre employer.

Exactly. Once we wake up and realize we have been putting ourselves second to this agency and thankless people, we realize that its better to leave. Especially how toxic things have become. The energy on patrol is terrible.

Most of the time, the observation based complaint posts are only one or two lines long. When you follow up with posts containing insults and unreasonable unproven opinions, we counter back with detail. As the thread grows we just add more and more detail. Your intentions are to discredit us, but in the end, all you do is offer name calling, bullying, opinions, and obscure theories. We expand on facts, details, and actual proven experiences making things far worse for you. Maybe your intentions are all wrong. Maybe this is exactly what you want all along. Keep this in mind. When we mention calls holding, short PATROL staffing, too much brass, going home late, and so on while so many ride the gravy train. The rest of us appreciate that the agency is being more progressive and also reaching out to the community through social media.
