The fact is the guy was disloyal to the sheriff. Good riddance. It doesn’t matter what he is doing these days as long as he is gone. Anyone who is disloyal needs to go. In a way, SJ did the right thing by quitting. The best thing would’ve been to see the light and be loyal. The next best thing was to STFU and quit which he did. There are some other people who need to do the same thing.

He STFU and quit which is exactly what was wanted when he was told he was going back to patrol. Do you really think they wanted him to stay and work patrol? So he could continue to be a disgruntled and worthless employee? The goal was for him to throw a tantrum and STFU and quit which he did. Good boy. They knew he’d make things easy and immediately tap out. Good b!tch.

You are proving the original poster's point! THANK YOU! You proved that they know how terrible patrol is. As the original poster asked...

    "What does this say about:

    1.) Punishment tactics?
    2.) The state of Patrol?
3.) The fact that a deputy, who has not yet reached full pension, would rather quit than return to patrol?"

He trained just about every sworn person that works here. When I saw him and when I was trained by him, I have never seen anyone more enthusiastic about this job. You can undermine him all you want. All anyone has to do is ask around for opinions about him and you can instantly be proven wrong. Your intentions are to discredit the truth. You make police agencies and our look bad because you and others like you try to cover up problems.
