    "You're going back to patrol"

Kudos to S.J. from the range. They told him he was being punished and sent back to patrol. He told them "I dont fukcing think so. Eat sshhiitt!!!"

HA!!!! MIC DROP! You knocked their teeth in! MAD REPSECT!!!!!

    What does this say about:

    1.) Punishment tactics?
    2.) The state of Patrol?
3.) The fact that a deputy, who has not yet reached full pension, would rather quit than return to patrol?

Great post! Yup! Resign before going back to patrol? Interesting.

It really could be the best job. If run properly and respected as a whole by the agency. How about tell the jail that we will be no longer impounding INMATE property, tell the MEO we wont be impounding their meds ref their cases, or FHP we wont be picking up their slack, or animal control, code enforcement, and so on.... lets get back to being cops. A little here and a little there will make things better. Undo the all the “it will only take a few minutes” bs and stand up for patrol instead dumping garbage on it to make yourself look good for that next command promotion. Col Davis really tried, but like I said before. One person or two cant fix this. The entire toxic paradigm must changed through and through.

So what you’re saying is he couldn’t cut it as part of the elite. Things at the range will get better now that a subpar employee is leaving, making room for someone who can be trusted.

No, I'm saying there's something seriously wrong with patrol, if numerous deputies refuse to work it again, and would rather quit.

What is says is that someone who was paid to train us how to respond tactically was too puzzy to do it for real. He was a ‘professional’ that could critique us but quit before having to do it himself. Glad he quit. Won’t be missed.

Ummm yeah, he worked patrol numerous years before going to the range. Weird little dude, but he didn't get the chance to go to the range by succkkiing at patrol. He more than proved he could. If you wanna argue about patrol not being punishment, and not being neglected, you need to come up with some valid points.
