Or Holloway is a puzz who has no nuts and the Sheriff got it right!!!!! I think liberal azz The Burg needs some real policing and time to stop coddling the criminals. Time for PCSO to tak over policing in St. Pete.

Why did a sppd media person post that video? That seem very inappropriate considering her job title sounds like she needs to be investigated

He ran unopposed and will be unopposed in 2020 as well. The voters can't fire him and there is nobody above him to give him an azz chewing.

You missed the whole point which is accountability. Holloway is accountable directly to the mayor and the city council. He can be fired or disciplined by them. The sheriff is an elected politician with nobody above him to hold him accountable. He can spin info and do whatever he wants. Voters have short memories and will vote for the incumbent. When nobody of consequence runs against him it is a moot point. Too much power in the hands of one politician and no system of checks and balances.

Ummmm....recent history shows you're wrong. The governor just recently replaced the Broward Sheriff for the Parkland shooting back in January. So, the governor would be above our sheriff in this case. Everyone is always immediately accountable to someone.

But guess what, nothing happened. The Deputy’s actions were in effect exonerated. No discipline. No suspension. No transfer. Still working. So 🖕🏼

As for the Sheriff, there is an election soon. Maybe you can swing some votes, I doubt it. FDLE can investigate it, I doubt that will happen. The use of force was justified. The arrest of the suspect stands. PCSO keeps moving on.

Jailers can cry like little babies all they want. Big difference arresting a fleeing suspect versus dealing with an inmate inside of a secure facility with back up near by.

And SPPD is run by weak and spineless people who answer to weak and spineless politicians. Politicians who kiss the feet of the criminal element in St. Creaturesburg, Florida.

Guess what Tony, VCTF is still doing its thing in your crime filled city with or without your people. They’re the only game in town now. SPPD just knows how to park and wave at people now.

It took a bunch of innocent kids getting killed to finally fire the incompetent BSO sheriff. Name another sheriff who was fired by the governor for incompetence. Police chiefs on the other hand are much more closely scrutinized and held accountable by mayors and city councils. Two SPPD chiefs have been fired during my lifetime. Those are the facts because that is how each system is set up.
