On 12/11/2017 Internal Affairs received a Complaint Form from Sergeant Mario Menegazzo (40820) against Captain Ortiz alleging Abusive Treatment and Improper Procedure. Sergeant Shauntel Kirkland (27457) was assigned to investigate the complaint. On 04/10/2018 the allegations of Abusive Treatment and Improper Procedure were closed as Unsupported.

Menegazzo is not going to take the hit for Javi especially now that his brother in law Major Armando Aguliar Jr is in charge of IA.
