Put your money where your mouth is
If Leavens for Lee but lives, votes, and pays taxes in Charlotte is SO sure he has a chance of winning the election WHY doesn't he take out a large loan like Eller did when she ran against Scott? He admits on his website he's at least smart enough to know you can't win a campaign without raising money. Maybe he could gather a few more signatures and funds by being a man of his word and taking out a loan for $100,000. At least then someone could take him half serious.

He would have to take out at least $500,000.00. The standing Sheriff has the stage and resources right now. If this Sheriff raises over $800,000.00 it will be twice as much as Mike Scott ever raised. Plus all Mike Scott’s people are 100% behind Carmine. Won’t happen, MOST have no idea there is an opponent!

laz n sleave
It's easy to cite them Jaime, just look at business leaders who have contributed to his $800,000 contributions. Why don't you keep trying to screw your wife's career like you did your by being a first class "I'm gonna say what I want" loser squad like the aoc bunch? you couldve been so much more than a huge douche

Reason
JL may try to deflect but answering "no comment" to why he moved out of Lee County won't cut it with voters. At some point the media is going to expect an answer to why he's running for sheriff in a county he hasn't lived in, voted in, or paid taxes in for 32 years.

Now it's 32 years?! It's amazing that this number has grown so much. When has he been asked and responded with "no comment?" It sounds oddly familiar as a response, though. Ah, that's right. That's the video that's on repeat in reference to the current guy being asked about his experience and whether or not he's qualified.

So now your saying you have to be from Lee County to be the Sheriff. Lee County is completely different then 30 years ago!
