Chad should have a camera so the taxpayers wont have to pay a photographer to be by his side all the time he is out.

He’s earned his way and paid plenty of dues so his stripes are well deserved. Leave him out of this.

I think it’s safe to say that this whole body camera deal is already showing to be a bad idea! But as one poster rightly posted, “supervisors are in their offices doing bankers hours, drinking coffee ☕️ with their heads straight up their arses!” Chad wins again! More ways to micro manage deputies instead of trusting them. FUBAR for sure!

Are you really that stupid?! The public wants body cameras. Especially democrat voters. The sheriff has done the ONLY smart move by bringing in cameras. If any politician is against body cameras, the public will assume they’re hiding police brutality. GREAT JOB BY SHERIFF CHRONISTER in doing the people’s will bringing in body cameras. If you think any candidate, especially a democrat candidate could get elected without supporting body cameras, you’re a fukcing idiot!

Son, let me explain something that seems a little lost on you. "Strategy." You see, CC is a Democrat posing as a Republican. He would lose his ass if a Republican posed as a Democrat and ran for office, promising deputies (not making this "meeting of the backbone of the Sheriff's Office" public), that they would Make Patrol Great Again!
Promising (then actually fulfilling these promises once elected): that our hourly pay would be higher than TPDs, that all hours worked after 40 hours a week (we still keep the two week/84 hour schedule, just get paidX1.5 for the last 4) would be paid at time and a half, that no less than 14 deputies per squad will fill a zone every day/night (that means 14 bodies minimum in zones is REQUIRED at all times), that the last hour of the shift will be official 10-6 time (yes the schedules will have to be adjusted), and that bodies cameras will no longer be used.
If a Minority "Democrat" running for Sheriff promised deputies to get rid of cameras alone, imagine the number of deputies campaigning for her... or (s)him.

Hahahaha that’s so cute! You think the public cares about your working conditions while you’re making 1.5 or 2 times what the average voter gets paid. Apparently you weren’t around when the public voted to shred the retirement plan because they hate cops. You idiot. The overwhelming vast majority of the voters would vote for you to get half as much pay and half as much manpower if their property tax would go down $20 per year. And they want you wearing body cams while you do it. That’s a damn fact.

Cute, or not, it could be done. A Republican running as a "Democrat" will get all the Democrats votes from the last election. Then telling (only) the deputies that the cameras will be gone will get all the deputies campaigning for them. Deputies could whip up some votes. Enough to make up the difference! It could be done. MPGA!
And last but not least, your really hurt my feelings calling me all those names BAHAHAHAHAHAH OMG! ROFL!!
