For the first time in 50 years, Miami Dade Will ELECT a sheriff. The PBA is dwindling and fighting to survive in Dade County. The PBA is running scared as Miami Dade‘s largest municipalities are FOP ( Miami, Coral Gables, Miami Beach, Hialeah etc). In a desperate attempt to gain support, the PBA is trying to take over the smaller municipalities (NBV, Surfside, Golden Beach etc). They understand that the police greatly impact the elections. Smaller municipalities or more accepted by voters as their relationship with their officers are closer. This upcoming NBV election is not about who represents us better, it’s simply about the PBA getting votes for Sheriff. You are just pawns in a bigger game .
